Adult Learning Styles

Overview

I collaborated with Dr. Donna Hallas, the Principal Investigator of the HRSA Grant funded Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Preceptor Development Program at NYU Meyers, to design this module about Adult Learning Styles. The target audience of this modules is NP Preceptors who teach hands-on skills to graduating NP Students in the clinical setting. Therefore, Adult Learning Styles​ discusses tenets of Adult Learning Theory to equip preceptors with the appropriate knowledge and mindset for educating NP students.

Development and Delivery
I built this module in Adobe Captivate and published it in HTML5 to the PC-NP-PDP website and as a Continuing Education Program on the National Association of Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) website. 

I recorded Dr. Hallas' narration directly into Adobe Captivate using a Yeti Blue Microphone and edited the audio in Adobe Audition.
