Instructional Design Portfolio

I always try to display my technical approach to learning by integrating digital tools into learning environments and designing educational media to accommodate unique learning styles of all learners. Here are some examples of my instructional design and e-learning work.

Nurse Practitioner Preceptor Development Program (NP-PDP) Website 

I collaborated with NYU Meyers' web development team to design the pdp.nursing.nyu.edu website. The site contains general information about the Academic Clinical Partnership that the HRSA grant establishes, as well as educational resources and links to e-learning modules (see the example below). 

I shared mock-up designs with the grant's Project Investigator and development team to design each page's layout. Since its launch, I have also been responsible for uploading and managing all of the site's content. Early Childhood Caries
Self-Paced E-Learning Module

I worked with clinical faculty at New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing to design this e-learning module that addresses risks, causes, and symptoms of early childhood caries. I developed the module on Adobe Captivate 9 that includes:
  • Video that I recorded and edited of faculty addressing the learning objectives mentioned above
  • Knowledge checks, such as multiple choice questions "hot spot" interactions.
  • Self-paced navigation​

I wrote these instructions for learners participating in NYU College of Nursing's HRSA Funded Nurse Practitioner Preceptor Development Program. The LMS hosts e-learning courses that I am developing with faculty at the College. The document explains how to register in the LMS and navigate courses.

High School Summer Immersion Program

​I designed this flyer using Adobe Photoshop for a HRSA Grant funded one-week High School Immersion Program at New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing. The objective of the program is to inspire high school students from New York City to explore a career in nursing by participating in hands-on healthcare activities and lectures by NYU Nursing faculty.
