My Story
Since 2014, I've been extremely fortunate to build a career by combining two of my biggest passions: education and design. I planted the seeds of my journey in the education field in 2012 when I left the United States to teach English in Santiago, Chile. Since returning in 2014, I have worked in a variety of educational capacities with diverse learners of many ages and backgrounds, both nationally and internationally. The one constant is that I've always incorporated multimedia design and leveraged technology to enhance learning. Since I transitioned into Instructional Design full-time in 2016, I have seen the power of multimedia and technology to create educational solutions that help learners to reach their full potential. Through my experience as an Instructional Designer combined with my education as a Masters student in NYU's Digital Media Design for Learning program, I strive to integrate educational best practices into multimedia design to produce high-quality learning experiences. I look forward to any opportunity to collaborate with subject-matter experts to design instructional materials and lead professional development training to share my knowledge and skills. Outside of work, you can find me practicing guitar, training muay thai, and searching for the best donuts that NYC has to offer! |
